Overview of Chardham Yatra Delux
The Char Dham Yatra refers to a holy pilgrimage circuit of four Hindu temples located in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India.
Yamunotri Temple: Source of the Yamuna River, dedicated to the goddess Yamuna.
Gangotri Temple: Source of the Ganges River, dedicated to the goddess Ganga.
Kedarnath Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest Shiva shrines in India.
Badrinath Temple: Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, believed to be one of the most sacred Vaishnavite pilgrimage sites.
Delux Chardham Yatra Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar
Post breakfast, board the cab and drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in to the accomodation. Later, if time permits, visit Har Ki Pauri and witness the evening Ganga Aarti, post visit return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot
Check out of the guest house after breakfast.
Drive to Barkot.
Check in to the guest house upon arrival in Barkot.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early breakfast, then drive to Janki Chatti (trek starting point).
Trek 6km to Yamunotri Temple (Goddess Yamuna).
Visit: Temple, Suryakund (hot spring for cooking), Divyashila (sacred rock).
Trek back to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi
Morning breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi.
Check-in hotel/resort.
Uttarkashi sightseeing (if time allows).
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Early morning: Drive to Gangotri.
Visit Gangotri Temple.
Afternoon: Drive back to Uttarkashi.
Overnight in Uttarkashi.
Gangotri Temple: 18th-century granite structure dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Hindus believe Ganga descended from heaven here and cleanses sins.
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
Check out after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi.
Check in to resort upon arrival. Overnight stay.

Day 07: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
Early morning: Drive to Sonprayag and take local cab to Gaurikund (2km).
Trek 19km to Kedarnath. Check in to guest house upon arrival.
Visit Kedarnath Temple (Lord Shiva) for evening prayer.
Dinner and overnight stay at guest house.
Kedarnath: One of 12 Jyotirlingas (Lord Shiva shrines).
Legend: Pandavas sought Shiva’s blessing after war. Shiva appeared as a bull and hid underground at Kedarnath, leaving his hump behind. His other body parts emerged elsewhere forming the Panch Kedar pilgrimage sites.

Day 08: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Rudraparyag
Morning: Trek down to Gaurikund.
Drive to Rudraprayag, check in to hotel.
Overnight in Rudraprayag.

Day 09: Rudraprayag – Badrinath
Morning breakfast, drive to Badrinath.
Check in to hotel upon arrival.
Evening: Visit Badrinath Temple for aarti.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Badrinath Temple: One of the “Four Dhams” pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Located at high altitude (3,133 meters) with scenic mountain views.
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 10: Badrinath – Rishikesh
Morning breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh.
Photo stop at Devprayag संगम (sangam) viewpoint (confluence of rivers).
Check in to hotel upon arrival in Rishikesh.
Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Devprayag: Small town where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet, forming the Ganges River. Hindus consider this the official birthplace of the Ganges.
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 11: Rishikesh – Delhi
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and return drive to Delhi.
